(Titusville, 02/24/2011) Folks along the banks of the Indian River react to Discovery's lift off from launchpad 39A at the Kennedy Space Center for its final space voyage. John Hebda of Apopka (not pictured) attended the launch with his wife, Nondas. A sports fan, Hebda said if he had to choose between seeing all the major sporting championships and a space shuttle launch, it'd be an easy decision. "I'm happy I saw this," Hebda said. "This is a once in a life thing." His wife added: "God bless the astronauts and keep them safe." [CHRIS ZUPPA, Times]
