Same Sex Marriage

New census data shows there are more and more same sex households in Florida and the Tampa Bay area. The state had 65,000 households in 2010, according to the Census Bureau, a nearly 60 percent increase from ten years ago. Tampa Bay counties saw even bigger increases, from 53 percent in Hillsborough to 91 percent in Hernando. Many of these households are raising children. Experts and many in the LGBT community say this is just a reflection of changes in society and more people being comfortable reporting their status to the government.
